Smooth Jazz Guitarist Bobby Adams' Latest Bio

Smooth Jazz Guitarist Bobby Adams is no stranger to the musical world. Coming from over 22
years of touring with legendary punk icons 7 SECONDS, Adams has finally given in to his love
of Smooth Jazz. Reno News & Review describes his music as instrumental R&B, trance-laced,
prescription strength Smooth Jazz. The UK’s Smooth Groovers Review say’s, “ We can’t get
enough of this beaconing sound. I’ts just like a special star winking at us across the desert skies.”

In April 2008, Bobby’s title track Desert Trippin’ began airing on The Weather Channel’s
Local On The 8’s. Bobby Adams also made his live Smooth Jazz Debut at Smooth Jazz
92.1 KJZS’ After Work Concert Series at Restaurante Orozko inside John Ascuaga’s Nugget
in Sparks, Nevada the same time. 92.1 added the track Sandy Valley to it’s playlist also in April.
The Source: Smooth Jazz and More Internet Radio has Bobby Adams in regular rotation
and Smoothjazzbeachradio.com has selected Bobby as their Artist Of The Month.

Adams recorded Desert Trippin’entirely on his own. He played every instrument
and produced the CD, including his own artwork for the cover.
The only thing he didn’t do was the mastering, which was done at
Odds On in Henderson, NV. CD Baby handles the distribution and Desert Trippin’ is
available at iTunes, Napster, Verizon, and more

With one goal already achieved by getting on The Weather Channel, Bobby has future plans.
Smooth Jazz cruises, major Jazz festivals, national airplay, the list goes on.
With the CD just barely released, Bobby has already started writing music for his second
CD with recording scheduled for the later part of 2008. Keep an ear out for this most talented
guitarist. You’ll be hearing more and more as time goes on.

Smooth Jazz Guitarist Bobby Adams is now being played on The Weather Channel

While on tour with 7 Seconds, I usually would sleep with The Weather Channel on TV all night. My ears ring so loud that I can't sleep unless the TV is on. I would listen to the Smooth Jazz on the Local On The 8's and relax.

This weekend, I was on a road trip to Irvine, CA with 7 Seconds performing at Bamboozle Left. While kicking back in the motel room with The Weather Channel on as usual, my friend Tom calls me up and tells me they're playing my song. I turned up the volume and sure enough, there it is! What a way to hear my music on The Weather Channel in a hotel room where I discovered my love for Smooth Jazz. I've come full circle!

I recorded it and posted it on myspace TV. Smooth Jazz guitarist Bobby Adams' music filled the room in Sidelines Bar with his unique signature cosmic sounds of Desert Trippin'. Raffle prizes were donated and given away and one lucky 50/50 raffle winner walked away with $200!

Faye Adams is to thank for this fun filled afternoon for her hard work in putting this last-minute event together.
MistyBlue Dedication

The song MistyBlue was written for our friend Misty and her family.

MistyBlue Josephine Watahomigie began her journey to the spirit world early on the morning of Aug. 28, 2007. She did not suffer or feel any pain.

She was born on Oct. 31, 1976, in Tuba City, Ariz., to her proud mother, Rebecca Watahomigie.

She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Elmer and Josie Watahomigie, and her precious pit bull XuXa. She is survived by her mother; Uncle Victor and Aunt Rose Watahomigie; Aunt Anna Watahomigie; cousins Diana, Iris and Victor Jr. Watahomigie, and Shana and Nathaniel Watahomigie; nieces Cree and Kynzie Watahomigie and Cheyenne Watahomigie-Peterson and beloved dog Whiskey.

MistyBlue was raised in Grand Canyon Village and graduated with honors from Grand Canyon High School. She was a high achiever in academics and sports including Little League and was an award-winning artist. She won the essay contest about protecting national parks and was chosen to read her paper to Barbara Bush at the 75th anniversary of the National Park Service. She was the first recipient of the Rotary Club's Youth Leadership Award and a member of the National Honor Society.

She attended college at Arizona State University and Northern Arizona University majoring in architecture and forestry. After stops in Tempe and San Diego, she moved to Reno, Nev., in 2003 and quickly fell in love with the area. She remained there and worked as a bartender at downtown Shooters for several years.

MistyBlue was a free spirit and touched many lives with her kindness and emotionally generous and honest heart. Much to her mother's dismay, MistyBlue loved her tattoos and was acquiring a collection of nature related art.

MistyBlue's favorite saying was "Whatever Trevor."

One of the greatest joys in MistyBlue's life was her nine-year-old niece Cree Brothers Watahomigie. They spent many hours together and talked on the phone constantly developing a strong unbreakable bond. Cree will always miss her.

Funeral services were held Sunday, Sept. 2, at Supai Camp at Grand Canyon Village. Many relatives arrived to help guide her journey to the next world. Friends of MistyBlue and her family came to pay their respects. Traditional singers were Rex Tilousi, Daniel Kaska, Jeffrey Manakaja, Carl Watahomigie and Richard Watahomigie.

On Monday, Sept. 3, MistyBlue was tenderly driven by her Uncle Victor to a remote Supai Cemetery at Drift Fence along with a caravan of relatives. She neared the end of her journey with singing by Rex Tilousi, Daniel Kaska and Jeffrey Manakaja. She was then lovingly lowered to her final resting place by the pallbearers.

She will be loved and missed forever.

Her mother and family request that any donations in MistyBlue's memory be made to your local mental health clinic, the Diabetes Foundation, the Kidney Foundation or any animal shelter. Please continue Misty's legacy and help the homeless with individual contributions.
